The War Monument in Savar

After brunch we went to Sabar, which is about an hour drive north of Dhaka. We went to visit a war museum and the drive there was amazing (see next post). At the monument the white guys in our crew was treated as celebrities. Men and women was amazed by them and acted as if they were superstars. They stared, pointed, smiled and wanted to take pictures with them and pose with them. It was hilariuos. They became the BIG attraktion rather than the actual monument.
