New Market

Off we go again. Now we are heading for New Market. A huge marketplace where you're supposed to be able to find anything you can find i Dhaka. Once we get there the tempreature has risen to about 30 degrees C. It is clear blue sky and very hot. I am worried the market will be unbearable. Dense, packed with goods and people who will not leave you alone. We enter the market and to my suprise it is very "airy" and well organized. Spacious and the vendors mostly leave you alone. It is very pleasant! However, it is hard for me to find any things that I actually like. The things they sell are very "practical" like for example brooms, china, food containers, table cloths, local clothing wear etc. It is nice to look around and we found a section for spices and we bought some curry, spicy mango, tamarind, dried chilis etc.
