But then finally they arrived! Then we dropped them off at home. Ratna, who works for Sabbi and Martin in their home made us all a lovely Bengali lunch which consisted of panfried bread, broccoli with onions, a potato tomato mix, fried eggs and a drink made of mango juice and milk. Really nice!
After this the guys got some rest. Sabbi and I went around to make some errands. Bank errand, getting pillows in one place, getting a matress in another place, went to a travel agency to pay Sabbis trip home, went to another travel agency to pay and work out the details for our coming trip to Khulna-Sunderban tomorrow. Then finally we went home. However, this took about all day as you are stuck in endless traffic all the time...
First stop with the gang collected we went to The Westin hotel because it is a tall building. I wanted to see Dhaka from above. It was a great view. Sunny but hazy (as always). Then we went for a drink in the bar. It felt a bit akward to be in that bar as it was very luxurious and expensive (Swedish prices). Wile having the drink you could hear the hunking from cars and shoutings from the street. As I said- awkward...
Anyway, after that we went for a nice Indian meal at "The Heritage". See menu below :)
