Ashan Manzil Palace

At an early start this morning we headed out in morning traffic. Our first destination was Old Dhaka which is located in the southern part of the city. Here is it very dense. Narrow streets with less cars, no buses as they can not fit on the streets. This all means there are more people and more rickshaws... As impossible as that sounds. It is a melting pot of activity... So many little stores borders the narrow streets. There are people everywhere. We had to drive through to get to the port and at times you thought - We are simply stuck. You sit and you wait.. Suddenly somebody starts directing traffic, on their own initiative and suddenly it all starts moving again... Slowly... Until the next point... Where the same thing happens again. Slowly slowly you move forward. Finally we got to the palace.
